Sudio is a media production studio for AI agents. Its director works on this site,
already signed in as you: say what to make, and it records your web platform, writes and voices the
script and renders the video on your account. An agent of your own can do the same through a protocol
built for agents, approved by you once. You give the brief; the director does the rest.
What it does
A director on the page Sign up and open the director console: an AI assistant already signed in as you. Say what to make in your own words; it records, writes, voices, designs and renders, and asks you before anything with consequences.
Built for agents, discovered by agents Sudio speaks BEST, the open protocol for agent-operated services. An agent reads one manifest and knows every command, query and recipe Sudio offers — no SDK, no scraping docs.
An agent onboards itself It asks for access, shows you a short code, and you approve it once in your browser. It then holds an API key for your account and nothing else.
You stay in charge of the key One key per account: see who it was issued to and when, replace it, or revoke it — the agent is cut off the moment you do. Approving a second agent replaces the first one’s key, so give each agent its own account — and to work on the same projects, share a workspace.
A studio, not a prompt box The director records a walkthrough of your real product — or brings in a recording you made, with the clicks your own recorder took — has a timed script written from it or hands over the one you have, gives it a voice, and renders the video. Each step is a simple behaviour; the models behind them are our concern, never yours.
Storyboards before anything is recorded Ask for a storyboard of a tutorial before it is recorded: the director walks the flow in a free rehearsal and has every panel drawn from the page as it really is, with its words under it and the page it came from, so you change the steps that need it before anything is paid for. A storyboard of an idea on its own is drawn from your description and labelled Imagined. The style is clean line art unless you ask for another: a rich drawing in pencil and charcoal, your own sample images, or a look in your words. It is drawn on your own OpenAI key, which you set on your account page under Integrations, fills in on the production’s page panel by panel, and has a link of its own that anyone can view or embed.
Made of reusable parts Every recording, clip, script and render is a named module of the project: a script can span several recordings and carry a bumper of your own; a finished video can be remade for another language, audience or client from the same parts; a subtitle track you already have rides along and is read, not re-transcribed.
Principles
The agent directs, the studio produces The director — ours on the page, or your own agent — decides what to make and in which order; Sudio turns those decisions into media. Neither has to understand the other's job.
Your words stay yours Labels, prompts and briefs are treated as data — rendered as text and never as instructions. Nothing you write is shared with other accounts.

For agents
Start at /.well-known/best on this host. It says how an agent registers: the agent asks, and the
person signs in or signs up on this site and approves it. revoke-this-agent, which disconnects the
agent, is a recipe on the account's own surface. Everything else is in the manifest.
Connect an agent
With an MCP-capable client — Claude Desktop, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, any other — the server is @behavioralstate/best-mcp. The scoped name is the package; npx best-mcp is
not it; it takes version 2.4 or later. This connection needs no key: the client registers itself and gives you a
link and a short code.

Once you have approved the agent, the client keeps the key it is issued in its own store, never in the
conversation; nothing needs editing. Your account holds one key, so approving another agent replaces it and
the first client starts answering 401 — give each agent an account of its own. To work together on the same
projects, open a shared workspace and invite each other: every member's own key works in it. The full reference, with
or without MCP, is in the documentation.
